Product Description:
Skin paradise Tone-up Sun cushion with its light and fresh cool texture instantly leaves your skin looking naturally brightened and vibrant without the chalky residue or dryness. With the use of active mineral ingredients instead of chemical sunscreens which can irritate and clog pores, Dear Dahlia foundation contains physical sunscreens which work by sitting on top of the skin to deflect and scatter damaging UVA and UVB rays away from the skin. With anti-oxidant enriched Dahlia Variabilis Extract as the main ingredient, this super hydrating liquid foundation helps retain moisture and balance while maintaining its picture-perfect natural finish. Expert wear and finish of a bottle formulation, with the convenience of a cushion pack.
My Experience with Dear Dahlia Skin Paradise Tone Up Sun Cushion:
Dear Dahlia Sun Cushion comes in a typical cushion foundation type packaging with marble print on the case. Like any other cushion product, you can always replace or refill the product once you have run out of it. The dispense mechanism is a push system.
As I have mentioned previously, I had never heard of a cushion sunscreen previously and it was intriguing to try one. It has been 15 to 20 days since I have been using this sunscreen and I must say there is nothing I don’t like about this product. The consistency of Dear Dahlia Sun Cushion is runny yet creamy in texture, which sinks into the skin instantly after application, without leaving a white cast on the face, but still it manages to brighten up my complexion.
This product feels very lightweight on the skin and it actually doesn’t feel like you have applied anything on your face. It doesn’t exactly mattify my skin but it does impart a natural glow on the skin. The mineral cushion has a strong floral scent, which fades away after a few minutes of application. I have been using this in the morning since the past 15 to 20 days. It hasn’t broken me out, which is one of the major issues with other regular sunscreens. It doesn’t clog pores and does keep skin hydrated for whole day, and it is good for sensitive skin.
Overall, I am impressed with this sun cushion foundation and would definitely be repurchasing it. There’s also a puff provided in this packaging, but I do feel it’s a waste since the puff is way too small and takes up a lot time for application. So, the best way, according to me, to apply this cushion sunscreen is with fingers or a Beauty Blender. Another thing that I do not like about this product is that you get only 14 ml of the product, which is half or even less in comparison to other sunscreens.
