Product Purchased by IMBB
Moroccanoil recently launched their body care range in India and I picked two things – body buff and body oil. I will be reviewing “Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose Body Buff” in this post.
Price:
INR 4770
Product Description:
A revitalizing, argan oil-infused body scrub with exfoliating sand that gently polishes away dead skin cells.
Solutions for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture
If you want to know more. Instantly achieve smooth, touchable skin with Body Buffs. Each one is infused with fragrances that range from the original Moroccanoil to an energizing orange blossom scent.
Originale Body Buff is a Medierranean-inspired body scrub that revitalizes rough, dry skin, thanks to exfoliating sand and apricot seed powder. Argan, avocado, and grape seed oils are fused with emollient cocoa and shea butters to deliver immediate hydration and softness.
The Fleur d’Oranger Body Buff is an exfoliating orange peel that gently polishes away dead skin cells. Antioxidant-rich argan oil is blended with sesame and sweet almond oils to rejuvenate and moisturize dry skin—and it’s infused with an energizing orange blossom scent.
Fleur de Rose is infused with rose petals to gently polish away roughness to help revitalize skin. It provides skin with the nourishing benefits of argan oil, vitamin E, and a blend of sesame, grape seed, avocado, and sweet almond oils to leave your skin moisturized and touchably smooth—plus, it’s delicately fragranced with an irresistible rose scent.
My Experience with Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose Body Buff:
This body buff comes in a pink jar with a metallic-looking plastic cap. The name of the brand with other details are printed on the front of the jar. It is a simple and chic packaging.
The product claims to revitalize skin and gently remove dead skin, this doesn’t do anything at all. Moroconoil body buff has a thick, cream-like texture with some granules which are supposed to slightly exfoliate skin. I generally use this once in a week instead of using a shower gel.
I usually work it in my skin for 3-4 minutes before washing it off! It is not harsh on my skin, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, but it doesn’t feel as scrub-by as I like. Because of its thick and creamy texture, it just glides on the skin without exfoliating and also adds a thick layer of cream which doesn’t go away even after taking the shower.
It does improve the texture of the skin by leaving it smooth and soft. I don’t need to apply any oil or cream after shower since the cream is intensely moisturizing and doesn’t go away even after rinsing it off. This product smells like roses, smells heavenly. The scent lingers on the body the whole day, it’s not overpowering in any sense.
Pros of Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose Body Buff:
- Smells heavenly.
- Doesn’t irritate sensitive skin.
- Not harsh on the skin.
- Leaves skin soft and smooth.
- Scent lingers for the whole day.
Cons of Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose Body Buff:
- Doesn’t remove dead skin cells.
- Adds a lot of cream on to the skin which doesn’t go away even after taking a shower.
