I'd say when it comes to fashion I like the classics. I love pencil skirts and block colour tops.I tend to go simple on the outfit, and a little more zany on the accessories. That way whatever the occasion, you'll have something suitable.
For me, dressing for a date can be a little daunting. What if you are over dressed for the place, what if he's in a t-shirt and you've worn your most cleavage busting dress? Luckily after over 1 and a half years of dating, it's a known fact that I'll always be more dressed up than my other half, but the date location could still throw me.
So that's why you can never go wrong with a little black dress and a few simple but quirky accessories.
You can't go wrong with a figure hugging stretch dress- and no it won't show off those 'lumps and bumps'. Midi length bodycon is subtle yet still a little sexy, as it highlights your shape without giving the while game away.
Pair it with what I call the statement clutch. It's a great way to add character to your outfit and clutches are so versatile for either day or night. For me I just fell a little in love with this Coast @ House of Fraser clutch. I mean come on now, it's fur AND leather!
Dress: ASOS
Clutch: c/o House of Fraser*
Shoes: ASOS
Necklace: Zara (Similar)
So after a little prancing around in front of the camera, I headed off on my date. Neither over or under dressed. Perfect.
