He also showed his famously cuddly physique has not changed much despite his newfound worldwide fame, as he donned a skintight red leotard for his energetic routine, which drew cheers when he wiggled his bottom in time with the beat.

His gloriously cheesy fun filled show was a much needed breath of fresh air for fans, who gasped and covered their mouths when they realised what he was up to.

The country is currently enduring aggressive threats from neighbours North Korea, where the rapper is also something of a sensation.

North Korea used a Gangnam Style parody to criticise Park Geun-hye, then the presidential candidate for South Korea's ruling party. Park was inaugurated as South Korea's new president in February.

His concert, which was titled Happening, was sold out and the cool performer certainly put on a show for his loyal fans.

PSY, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, said on Saturday that he regretted the current tensions between the two Koreas.

The situation has been grabbing global headlines, with North Korea becoming increasingly belligerent with war rumblings, leaving its neighbors wary of a possible missile test by Pyongyang.
