Manicure Monday - Gel Effect Nail Polish

Happy Monday everyone! My nails this week need to be a little more practical - they have to last 2 weeks this time! I am going on holidays on Friday so I will not be able to do my nails next Monday, but this gives me a great reason to try some Gel Effect nail polish! 

I don't normally have really dark nails, but I actually love this colour - it looks really sleek! 


Here are the product I used for this week's Manicure:

-Aurora Gel Effect Nail Polish in "Inky Dinky"
-OPI Nail Laquer in "Charmmy & Sugar"
-Formula X nail cleanser and base coat
-Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat 

I don't actually know if I'm supposed to use the Sally Hansen Gel top coat with other gel polishes, but I'm going to! This is the gel top coat that I have and I need all the gel effect I can get to make this last for 2 weeks! 

This Mani was very easy - nail cleanser, base coat, 2 coats of gel polish and top coat! I also added 1 coat of glitter to an accent nail! 

I will check in next week and see how the polish is holding up!
