Raven-Symoné Claims "Catfished" by The View

In a new podcast called The View: Behind the Table, former The View co-hosts detailed what life is like behind the scenes of the daytime talk show. The View has been riddled with scandals and salacious gossip over the years, as the divisive ABC talk show talks about controversial topics and politics.

Child stars Raven-Symoné and Candace Cameron Bure joined ABC The View in 2015, both actresses left after just one season.

Raven-Symoné, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Candace Camron Bure, Paula Faris and Sara Haines appeared on The View season 19.

Raven Symone was a cohost on The View for one season, and says she left because she feels the show "catfished" her, by misrepresenting itself. Raven Simone wanted to talk about sex, love and relationships, but The View ended up being largely about politics and Raven Simone did not come from a political background. Raven Synmone credits Whoopi Goldberg for making her stint on The View bearable.

Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure had similar sentiments about The View as the conservative cohost. Full House star Candace Cameron Bure said once Donald Trump was elected in 2016, she had to quit for her mental health.  Candace Cameron Bure says after the 2016 election and the direction the show was going in, she did not want to sit in the conservative seat. We cannot blame her! Look at all of the heat The View conservative cohosts have gone through like, Meghan McCain, Elisabeth Hasselback .
